Nugroho F. Yudho: He spent thirty-two years as journalist at the Indonesia’s leading daily newspaper, Kompas, during which he together with Agus Hermawan and Jannes also initiated, managed and led the series of the daily’s tour bike (Jelajah Sepeda) events from 2008 until they left the newspaper in 2019. Each of the events attracted an average of up to 400 cyclists from cyclist from different walks of life, crossing several corners of the country for a number of days, including Jakarta-Palembang, Bali-Komodo, Sabang-Padang, Manado-Makassar, Manokwari-Bintuni, and Labuan Bajo-Maumere. After leaving the daily as an editor, Nug now focuses his time at Jelajah as President Director.
Agus Hermawan: Better known as Abah Ush, he spent 30 years in Kompas as a journalist and also Vice Director of Community Affairs. Like Nug and Jannes, he is one of the key persons behind most of the sports events run by the daily. Abah Us is one of the initiators of the 320-km Sumbawa Ultra Marathon in 2016 and the reborn of Borobudur Marathon in 2017. A marathoner and a vivid long-distance cyclist, he is famous among Indonesian runners for his role as an advisor of many key national running events.
Jannes Eudes Wawa: A journalist at the same daily for 25 years, Jannes knows every inch of the Indonesia's archipelago. Thus, he is the key planner for most of the long-distance Jelajah Sepeda events, detailing every pit stop, selfie stop, warung stop and durian stop.
Basrie Kamba: BK – a former journalist at The Jakarta Post – An executive of a multinational company, BK is a keen sports enthusiast and adventurer: cycling, running, hiking and diving. In October 2018, at 55, he reached the Australasia rooftop Carstensz Pyramid (4,884masl) after being severely attacked by blizzard at the peak.
Yayak M Saat: A member of 1986-batch Mapala UI nature lovers community, he has engaged in and managed numerous outdoor activities across the country, including mountain climbing and tracking, forest exploration, camping, island hopping, culinary and cultural tourism.
